1. Consider wearing it casually. Try a t-shirt or crew neck sweater and a pair of jeans. It's a smart, casual look and dressed up enough for a date or casual business meeting.
2. Go fitted. Make sure whatever you are wearing under is fitted. Nothing will kill a look quite as quickly as a baggy t-shirt or sweater that's fighting to get out.
3. Level up with layers. If the weather is a little cooler, throw a sweater over your polo or button down. Follow it with a blazer. Simple, but you'll walk out the door with confidence in hand.
4. Try a turtleneck. You'll be surprised at how sharp it will look. Match the color of your turtleneck to the sport coat or jeans if you are unsure of what color to pair with it.
